These footrest hammocks are hugely popular. They are great quality with a tough nylon/polyester hammock and adjustable straps so you can hang them over the tray table hinges, or use anywhere you want to put your feet up and take some pressure off your lower back.

I've tried them out and I like them. Put one foot in or two and they allow you to move position when you need to in economy. They come with their own storage bag too. Ideal for shorter people who can actually fit their legs up under the tray table!

Check with your airline to see if you are allowed them.

Used recently on a 3 hour flight. It was great - comfortable and easy to fit behind the table. I would recommend it t anyone +++

Footrest hammock

I couldn’t use it as was no leg room at all on Singapore airlines economy so I couldn’t lift my knees to put feet in hammock.
When tested at home I felt it needed to be more adjustable so it could be shortened more to get feet well off the ground.

Hi Sally, the footrest can be adjusted by threading the strap tighter at the clasp end. I use it for one foot at a time and that is comfortable for me.

Quite handy

Works well but could do with being able to pull the straps shorter so the hammock is higher - I ended up wrapping them around the arms of the tray table several times to shorten them which also worked. Overall good to be able to change up your position on a long flight.
