Cashmere scarves from Nepal
*New cashmere scarves have arrived from Nepal!
I just spent two weeks in Nepal last year, partly volunteering and partly exploring for a few days and came across Helping Hands, an organisation that exists to provide disabled young adults with jobs hand looming cashmere blankets, scarves, sweaters and ponchos.
So these incredibly soft and exquisitely lightweight scarves are made in Pokhara Nepal by the deaf and blind young people at Helping Hands. The cashmere is brushed from Nepalese mountain goats, processed into yarn, then sent to Helping Hands to be woven into the most luxurious fabrics I've ever felt!
I not only love that buying these items helps to sustain this organisation, but I am so impressed with the quality that this is my second shipment.
Size: 75cm x 200cm
Also check out the blankets and ponchos I brought back!
